These are chiffon and cotton sarees on which ‘alpona’ is hand-painted. Alpona is a traditional art form that originated in West Bengal. It is a form of rangoli that is exclusively made using flour or rice paste by Bengali women on auspicious occasions in Bengal. We tried to recreate that traditional art form on sarees.
These sarees are 6.5 metres in length (come with an attached blouse piece ).

These sarees can be customised in any combination according to the customer’s choice.

The sarees can be dry-washed or hand-washed in cold water at home with liquid detergent.
These are handcrafted sarees.
